No Sin to Correct Husband’s Adulterous Partner

Patrick Madrid took a call from a woman who was abandoned and knows her marriage is valid. The husband is now cohabiting with his adulterous partner and has entered a so-called second marriage.  The caller was questioning if she was sinning by her anger and correction of the “other woman.”

Patrick Madrid says there is no sin in expressing your anger or even your furry.

“What a dope (for him) to do this to you and your family … The truth is, eventually, if he doesn’t repent, he’s going to go to hell. And so will she.  I don’t wish that on them, and I know you don’t either. But, part of your righteous indignation is that you see so clearly something so stupid and self-injurious that he’s done to you and to the family and to himself. How can you not be outraged by it.  … I’m angry for you, that this dolt of an ex-husband would do something so stupid and so hurtful  and my heart goes out to you.”

After saying goodbye to the caller, Patrick Madrid gave an admission to any listener that if you have abandoned your spouse “you are going to hell if you don’t repent.”
