Joe McClane & Bai discuss Bishops’ Divorce Requirement

Joe McClane, host of The Station of the Cross’ “The Catholic Take” invited me on his show on July 2.

We talked about bishops’ requirement for a civil divorce prior to any annulment investigation. I publicized this situation recently on Mary’s Advocates’ “Bishops Respond: Plea to Drop their Divorce Mandate”

Watch  “The Catholic Take” episode HERE

I told McClane’s viewers about  the letter from the bishop who is the Chairman of the USCCB’s “Canonical Affairs Committee” saying the reason the Church requires a divorce is because the Church doesn’t want to be sued for alienation of affection.
